Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist with a passion for short hair, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This includes cutting, styling, and grooming hair according to client preferences and needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities:
– Provide high-quality barbering and hairstyling services to clients
– Cut, trim, and shape hair according to client preferences
– Shave and groom facial hair using straight razors and other barbering tools
– Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and handling payments
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
Qualifications:
– Valid Michigan barber/stylist license
– Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist
– Excellent customer service skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of retail math for selling salon products
– Ability to effectively manage store operations if required
