We are seeking a talented and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients while maintaining a clean and welcoming salon environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to mentor junior staff members. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of techniques, including barbering, hair threading, and makeup application.
Responsibilities:
Cut and style hair using various techniques and products
Perform hair threading and other hair removal services
Provide makeup applications and nail care services
Mentor and train junior staff members
Maintain a clean and sanitized salon environment
Utilize salon software to manage client information and appointments
Upsell salon services and products to increase revenue
Manage retail math and inventory of products
Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff to achieve salon goals
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in the industry
Requirements:
A valid license to practice barbering or cosmetology
Proven experience in barbering and styling
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of various hair and makeup techniques
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Experience with salon software and retail math
Ability to mentor and train junior staff members
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $59,856.00 – $66,584.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 45 per week
