Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist or Esthetician you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will utilize your creativity and expertise in hair styling, barbering, and retail sales to enhance the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precise haircuts and styles.
Provide consultations to clients regarding their hair care and styling options.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations according to industry standards.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments using salon software like TheCut, Booksy or Facebook.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that suit clients’ hair care needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty services including eyelash extensions.
Skills
Proficiency in hair styling techniques with experience in barbering preferred.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment management.
Strong retail sales skills to effectively promote products to clients.
Excellent sanitation practices to maintain a clean working environment.
Ability to mentor and guide less experienced stylists in their professional development.
Experience with eyelash extensions is a plus but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Pay: $24.88 – $26.83 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
