Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various hair services and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role requires creativity, technical skill, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and barbering techniques.
Offer manicure annd pedicure services to enhance client looks for special occasions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
Assist in store management tasks including inventory control and retail math to ensure product availability.
Engage with clients to build relationships, understand their preferences, and recommend suitable services or products.
Promote additional services such as nail care and other treatments available at the salon.
Utilize Zenoti or similar scheduling software for appointment management.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hairstyling, barbering, and related beauty services.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Familiarity with retail math principles for inventory management is a plus.
Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques and trends in the beauty industry.
