Tapers & Tequila by RCK, an upscale and sophisticated branch of the renowned Royal Cut Kings, is seeking highly skilled and passionate barbers/stylists to join our team. This unique concept combines premium barbering services with a refined, professional ambiance that caters to clients looking for a luxurious grooming experience. As a barber/stylist at Tapers & Tequila, you will be part of a culture that values craftsmanship, continuous learning, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, fades, beard grooming, and styling to meet the high standards of Tapers & Tequila clientele.
Provide personalized consultations to clients, advising them on grooming techniques, styles, and product recommendations suited to their preferences and needs.
Maintain a professional, upscale service environment by ensuring that each client receives a tailored and memorable experience.
Uphold sanitation and hygiene standards according to Virginia state barbering regulations, as well as internal health and safety policies.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to continuously improve and elevate service offerings.
Actively participate in training and workshops organized by Tapers & Tequila and Royal Cut Kings to expand skills and keep up with the latest trends.
Promote Tapers & Tequila’s brand values through excellent customer service and professional interactions, enhancing the company’s reputation as an upscale destination for barbering and style.
Qualifications:
Valid Barbers License (or ability to obtain one).
Proven experience as a barber/stylist with a portfolio showcasing skills in haircuts, fades, shaves, and beard grooming.
Commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, with a strong attention to detail and an eye for style.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and understand their styling preferences.
Proven experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients.
Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow alongside Tapers & Tequila.
Professionalism and reliability, ensuring punctuality and consistency in delivering a high-end experience.
Passion for continued education and growth, with a proactive approach to learning new techniques and trends in the barbering industry.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in high-end or luxury barber shops/salons.
Knowledge of the latest trends in men’s grooming and styling.
Ability to upsell and recommend products that align with client needs.
