We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all clients.
Duties
Perform haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
Utilize techniques such as hair threading and straight razor shaving to achieve desired results.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience while demonstrating knowledge of color theory and retail math.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and service offerings.
Experience
Previous experience as a Barber/Stylist is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with salon software systems.
Demonstrated skills in hair care, upselling techniques, color theory, straight razor shaving, and sanitation practices are highly desirable.
Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and understanding their needs.
