Responsibilities
Provide professional barbering and hair styling services, including cuts, trims, and color treatments.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols.
Engage with clients to assess their needs, recommend services, and upsell products when appropriate.
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
Assist in retail sales by promoting salon products and services to clients.
Perform nail care services as needed, ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering techniques, and beauty services.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in barbering, hair styling, or related fields.
Knowledge of nail care techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with retail sales practices and upselling strategies.
Experience with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality services.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
