Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles and products.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired hair colors and highlights.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Promote retail products and provide recommendations based on client needs, contributing to retail sales goals.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions or hair extensions if certified.
Experience
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in managing product sales effectively.
Experience with barbering techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with sanitation practices within the beauty industry is essential.
