Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services to clients while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. You will utilize your skills in hair styling, makeup application, and other beauty services to enhance the overall client experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with salon software and be familiar with MINDBODY for appointment scheduling.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Perform hair treatments, including coloring, highlights, and hair extensions.
Apply makeup and offer eyelash extension services as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area by sanitizing tools and equipment.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new staff members.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and beauty techniques.
Build strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Experience 3 years minimum and active certification
Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in using salon software, particularly MINDBODY.
Knowledge of hair styling techniques, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and hair extensions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
A valid cosmetology license is required; additional certifications in specialized services are a plus.
