Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and barbering, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves performing a variety of hair services, including cuts, colors, and styling, while also engaging with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to offer color treatments that enhance client satisfaction.
Perform eyelash extensions and other beauty services as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage in retail sales by recommending and selling hair care products to clients.
Use MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing bookings.
Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hairstyling techniques.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and barbering to provide clients with contemporary looks.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license.
Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of straight razor techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with retail sales practices within the beauty industry.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.49 – $26.24 per hour
