We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Shave to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair cuts / shave services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will be responsible for a variety of hair services while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hair styling / shave techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, styling, and grooming services for clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety standards.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Apply color theory knowledge to execute color treatments effectively.
Provide specialized services such as hair threading, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing expertise and best practices.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure the salon is clean and inviting.
Skills
Proficiency in various hair styling and straight razor shaves.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
Commitment to sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Mentoring skills to guide less experienced stylists in their professional development.
