Overview:
Hairbonyx SmartStyle, located inside Walmart at Chesapeake Square, is seeking an experienced and motivated Salon Manager to lead our team of stylists. This position is ideal for a licensed cosmetologist ready to take their career to the next level with leadership and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day salon operations and ensure high standards of customer service.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of stylists to meet performance goals.
Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming salon environment.
Provide hair services behind the chair, including cuts, color, and styling.
Schedule staff, manage inventory, and uphold brand standards.
Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
Support recruiting, hiring, and training of salon team members.
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia Cosmetology License (Required)
2+ years of experience as a hairstylist behind the chair
or
1+ year of salon management experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for beauty, customer service, and team development
