Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent while delivering top-notch customer service.
Duties:
– Perform a variety of barbering and styling services, including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hairstyling
– Provide consultations to clients to understand their desired look and offer professional recommendations
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hairstyling
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools
– Manage appointment bookings and maintain an organized schedule
– Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships
– Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend suitable products for at-home maintenance
– Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and straight razor shaves as needed
– Actively participate in retail sales by promoting and selling haircare products
Skills:
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service
– Proficient in various barbering techniques, including the use of clippers, shears, razors, and other styling tools
– Knowledge of retail math to accurately process transactions and handle cash register operations
– Experience in store management is a plus
– Ability to mentor junior barbers/stylists and provide guidance on technique improvement
– Passion for the industry with a keen eye for detail and creativity
