**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a Barber/Stylist assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about men’s and women’s short hair styling, customer service, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
– Perform duties from answering phones, booking appointments, learning our booking system, shadowing barbers/stylists to watch/learn from some of the most talented ones in Savannah.
– Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience
– Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Opening/Closing Duties (includes cleaning the shop)
– Be a TEAM player
**Experience:**
– No experience necessary, but must be in cosmetology/barber school, or willing to become an apprentice.
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Knowledge of store management practices is a plus
– Familiarity with front desk duties such as appointment scheduling, answering phones and taking client payments.
– Ability to perform various services, multitask.
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $12.00 – $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
