Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent in a fast-paced and dynamic salon environment.
*this is to rent out a chair at Thats It Salon , in Miami Shores FL*
Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of hair care services including cutting, styling, coloring, and shaving
– Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
– Recommend appropriate hairstyles and treatments based on clients’ facial features, hair type, and lifestyle
– Perform hair extensions, threading, nail care, makeup application, and other related services as needed (not a requirement but would be beneficial )
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and hairstyling
– Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment by following proper sanitation procedures
– Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service skills
– Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
Skills:
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs (English/Spanish)
– Proficiency in color theory to provide accurate color matching and blending
– Experience in hair extensions to offer a variety of lengthening and volumizing options
– Knowledge of hair threading techniques for precise hair removal
– Strong understanding of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
– Familiarity with retail math to assist clients in selecting the right products for their hair care needs
– Makeup application skills to provide additional beauty services if required
– Ability to upsell salon products and services to increase revenue
-2/3 Years of experience w full licence as a cosmetologist/barber
