Matura Salon and Spa Management is a rapidly growing, innovative salon services company partnering with Senior Living Communities nationwide and we are seeking a dynamic Salon Manager / Stylist for well established, busy, upscale community.
As the Salon Manager, you will work closely with the Community Management and stylists to develop a positive, open communication relationship between all, along with providing salon services to residents. This role requires a proven background in the hair salon industry, including expertise in product knowledge, inventory management, client issue resolution, and knowledge of salon software.
Minimal Qualifications:
· 2 years management experience in the Beauty Industry
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings / overnights
· Ability to perform various administrative tasks: having solid business writing and computer skills
· Ability to resolve guest issues
· Ability to effectively develop and lead a team: creating a positive work environment; providing training and guidance on professionalism and technical competencies
· Knowledge of, and ability to train all aspects of cosmetology, when applicable
Physical Requirements:
· Standing or sitting for sustained periods of time
· Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
· Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing services
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
