I am seeking a skilled and reliable Braid Assistant with experience in underhand braiding to support my hairstyling services at BriiRena Beauty. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for the beauty industry.
Position Overview
The Braid Assistant will assist in executing high-quality braided styles while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for clients. Key responsibilities include hair preparation, parting, and finishing techniques.
Responsibilities
Assist with underhand braiding and ensure clean, precise parting
Prep braiding hair for seamless application
Prepare clients’ hair, including detangling and blow-drying if needed, sectioning and pre-parting
Assist in finishing braids for a polished look
Maintain an organized and sanitary work area
Manage time effectively to keep appointments on schedule
Provide a professional and welcoming experience for clients
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in underhand braiding
Ability to create clean, even parting
Experience in prepping braiding hair for efficiency
Knowledge of hair prep techniques (detangling, blow-drying, sectioning)
Attention to detail and a polished finishing touch
Time management skills to keep appointments on track
Professionalism and strong client communication
Position Details
Compensation: 60/40 profit split
Availability: Days/Hours Needed will be advised as booked
