The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various cosmetology services, including hair styling, & treatments. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. As a Cosmetologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients while providing exceptional service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
– Provide a range of cosmetology services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments.
– Perform with eyebrow waxing.
– Consult with clients to determine their beauty needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
– Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon areas.
– Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology, including color theory and techniques.
– Mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge and best practices in cosmetology.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Skills
– Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
– Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information about services and products.
– Proficiency in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
– Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus for versatility in service offerings.
– Familiarity with retail sales strategies and retail math for inventory management.
– Expertise in eyelash extensions application and hair threading techniques.
– Understanding of color theory to provide clients with informed choices regarding hair color services.
– Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative team environment.
