The Beautician provides high-quality cosmetology services to clients, including haircuts, styling, manicures, and other personal care treatments. The Beautician ensures client satisfaction by delivering personalized beauty treatments and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of beauty services including haircuts, hairstyling, manicures, and other cosmetology treatments.
  • Consult with clients to understand their beauty goals and recommend appropriate services.
  • Ensure workstations and tools are cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to state health regulations.
  • Maintain a positive, client-focused attitude and ensure each guest has a satisfying experience.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, products, and techniques.
  • Assist with inventory of supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Uphold salon or spa policies and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support smooth operations and client scheduling.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cosmetology field.
  • Valid and current cosmetology license in the state of Florida.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.
