Responsibilities
Greet customers uponarrival
Remove hair using permanent andtemporary methods (e.g. electrolysis andwaxing)
Apply hair products, like serum, creamand clay to style hair
Give manicures andpedicures following clients’preferences
Recommend hairstyles and nailcolours to match clients’ needs and personalstyle
Apply makeupproducts
Provide guidelines to clients on howto take care of their skin
Book appointmentsover the phone and serve walk-ins based onavailability
Maintain updated client records(e.g. contact details andtreatments)
Cross-sell therapies and beautyproducts, when relevant
Make sure our workingarea is clean and the equipment is sterilized at alltimes
Keep track of levels of stock (e.glotions and nail polishes)
Requirements
Proven work experience as aBeautician, Cosmetologist or similarposition
Hands-on experience
with makeup andhair removal techniques
Familiarity with skincare therapies, like moisturizing, exfoliation andpeeling
Knowledge of beauty products andtrends
Ability to
provide personalized servicesbased on each client’srequirements
High schooldiploma
Degree in Beauty therapy, Cosmetologyor relevant field is a plus
