Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Duties
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate styles and treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and handling customer inquiries.
Assist in retail sales by promoting salon products and services to clients.
Utilize salon software for appointment management and client record keeping.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, nail care, and makeup application to offer clients the best options.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and excellent customer experience.
Experience
A valid cosmetology license is required.
Previous experience in a salon or barbershop setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective product sales is advantageous.
Knowledge of salon software systems is beneficial for efficient operations.
Experience in nail care and makeup application is a plus but not essential.
