We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Beauty Assistant Buyer to support the buying team in curating and managing our beauty product assortment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for skincare, cosmetics, and wellness trends, and will assist in product selection, vendor relations, and merchandising execution.
Responsibilities
Product Selection Support: Assist in sourcing new beauty products across skincare, makeup, fragrance, and personal care categories.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding product information, samples, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Inventory Management: Help manage stock levels, place reorders, and monitor product performance to ensure availability and avoid overstock.
Sales Analysis: Prepare reports and analyze sales data to support buying decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Trend & Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging beauty brands.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate product data including pricing, descriptions, and attributes across internal systems.
Visual & Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing and VM teams to support product launches, promotions, and in-store displays.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the Beauty industry is a must.
1–2 years of experience in a retail buying, merchandising, or beauty-related role (internships included).
Strong interest in the beauty industry with knowledge of current trends and brands.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail management systems (ERP/PLM experience is a plus).
