Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.
Why this role is important?
SUMMARY:
To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maximizes sales and awareness of promotional programs
Possesses a “selling is fun” attitude
Promotes sales of beauty products
Encourages customer participation in the PC Optimum program
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Creates a positive environment for customers and coworkers
Provides superior customer service, always putting the customer first
Uses eClienteling to enhance customer interactions
Promotes products and the PC Optimum program
Books appointments for in-store events
OPERATIONS:
Exhibits and promotes company products and services
Attends vendor training and workshops
Follows Cosmetics Operating Standards
GENERAL:
Adheres to health, safety, store policies, and loss prevention policies
Acts professionally at all times
Performs additional duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
Independent thinking
Selling skills in cosmetics and luxury goods
EXPERIENCE:
Proven consultative and selling skills
Knowledge of beauty products and services
Experience conducting makeup and skincare consultations
Excellent communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Climb ladders
Bend and stretch for stock handling
