Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager leads the Jo Malone London counter within the store, creating personalized beauty experiences and driving sales. This role balances hands‑on selling, skincare and makeup consultations, and management of counter operations while building a customer following both in‑store and digitally.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products to meet customers’ beauty goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools such as text and social media
- Manage scheduling, vendor events, promotions, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and enroll customers in the rewards program
- Maintain a customer‑ready counter through organization, cleanliness, and product merchandising
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and current beauty trends
- Proven ability to connect with customers, handle concerns with empathy, and build loyalty
- Results‑oriented with experience or interest in commissioned sales and digital selling tools
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and ability to stand and move continuously; lift up to 25 pounds
