Job Description
At Nordstrom Beauty Department, we aim to make our customers feel their best. As part of our beauty community, you’ll create personalized beauty experiences and be part of a passionate team that values your unique skills.
This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and maximizing sales of trendy and luxury beauty brands. Ideal candidates are passionate about beauty trends, makeup, and skincare, with the ability to build a customer following both in-store and digitally.
A Day In the Life
Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using effective selling tools, including social media.
Book appointments and promote sales for in-store beauty events and services.
Maintain a clean and organized department.
Stay updated on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
Qualifications
Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle concerns proactively.
Empathy and respect for all customers, providing support during makeup and skincare applications.
Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
Drive to achieve sales goals, with interest in networking and technology.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
