We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair care and styling techniques, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create beautiful hairstyles, build lasting relationships with clients, and contribute to a positive salon atmosphere.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Sanitate tools and workstations to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and straight razor cuts.
Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable services or products.
Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience.
Maintain accurate records of client appointments and preferences using salon software.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques through ongoing education.
Skills
Proficient in various hair styling techniques including barbering and cosmetology.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure health and safety standards are met.
Experience with hair extensions, straight razor cuts, and hair threading is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to effectively upsell services and products while maintaining a positive client experience.
Familiarity with square is a plus.
