A Beauty Therapist is responsible for providing a variety of beauty treatments and therapies to clients, ensuring a high level of
customer satisfaction
and personalized care. This role requires expertise in skincare, body treatments, and grooming services, as well as excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Conduct consultations to understand clients’ needs, preferences, and any medical considerations. Recommend appropriate treatments, products, and services based on the consultation. Treatment Delivery: Perform beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, massages, manicures, pedicures, and body therapies. Ensure treatments are delivered safely, hygienically, and professionally. Provide expert advice on skincare routines and recommend suitable products for clients. Stay updated on new beauty trends, techniques, and products to enhance client experiences.
Equipment and Product Maintenance: Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. Monitor inventory levels of beauty products and tools, and place orders as needed. Customer Service: Create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. Handle client inquiries, bookings, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Upselling
and Promotions: Promote salon/spa products and services to enhance the client experience and increase sales.
Inform clients of ongoing promotions and loyalty programs. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and salon/spa policies. Maintain detailed client records, including treatment history and preferences.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy or a related field. Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of beauty treatments, products, and techniques. Skills and
Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Attention to detail
