Description for Internal Candidates Responsiblefor providing aesthetic services under the supervision anddirection of a Physician; includes suggested skin care products andtreatments that will enhance patients overall outcome; training andeducation to patients regarding skin careservices.
* Responsibilitiesfor Internal Candidates Responsiblefor the competent physical documented assessment (using all sourcesto hand including observation and
communication
) and subsequentpreparation of appropriate treatment for a patients skin care needsbased on good clinical knowledge experience and consultation with aDermatologist/Physician.
Perform a range ofskincare treatments including facials peels microdermabrasionetc.
Administer specialized treatments likelaser therapy and lightbasedprocedures.
Conduct thorough skin assessmentsto identify individual concerns andneeds.
Develop personalized treatment plans forclients considering their skin type conditions andgoals.
Recommend and apply appropriate skincareproducts for specific concerns.
Performextractions blackhead removal and other skin blemishtreatments.
Provide pre and postoperativeskincare support for clients undergoing cosmeticprocedures.
Manage client expectationsexplaining potential outcomes and recoveryperiods.
Consult with clients to understandtheir skincare history allergies andpreferences.
Educate clients about skincareroutines product usage and lifestylefactors.
Uphold a clean and organized treatmentspace following sanitation guidelines.
Operateand maintain skincare equipment ensuring proper sterilization andhygiene.
Keep detailed and accurate records ofclient information progress andtreatments.
Participate in continuous educationand training to enhance skills andknowledge.
Maintain strong customerrelationships by delivering
exceptional service
andresults.
Adapt to individual client needs andevolving beauty industry standards.
Followindustry regulations and
safety protocols
during allprocedures.
Stay updated on the latest skincaretrends technologies and productadvancements.
Collaborate with dermatologistsor medical professionals for client referrals oradvice.
Maintain a record of physical findingsconfidentially accurately and timely
Under thedirection of the Dermatology and Facial Plastics healthcareprofessionals and in
collaboration
with the materials departmentmaintains inventory of skin care products appropriate for the needsof the practice.
Performs all duties in aprofessional and confidentialmanner
Qualifications:
Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Accredited Aesthetician Program or Clinical Aesthetician Training Program Minimum 2 year ofexperience in Aesthetic department
