Bench Jeweler / Jeweler Apprentice
Paradise Jewelry is the largest retail jeweler in the United States, specializing in Middle Eastern Gold. We are seeking both entry-level apprentices and experienced Bench Jewelers to join our dedicated team and contribute to our tradition of excellence in custom design and repair.

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
Typical Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What You Will Do
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with fine metals and high-end custom jewelry. Responsibilities will vary based on experience:
Experienced Bench Jeweler:
- Custom Design: Use your talent to design and fabricate stunning, one-of-a-kind custom jewelry pieces.
- Jewelry Repair: Restore fine jewelry to its original beauty, focusing on complex repairs.
- Stone Setting: Expertise in setting stones, creating mounts, and re-tipping of prongs.
- Advanced Repair: Performing chanel and gold rebuilds, sizing, and complex fabrication.
- Deliver a “Customer-First” experience by ensuring quality craftsmanship on all designs and repairs.
Jeweler Apprentice (Entry-Level):
- Start with administrative/clerical support tasks and learn the fundamentals of the trade.
- Focus on basic skills like polishing jewelry, cleaning, and chain clasp repair.
- Assist experienced Jewelers and gain hands-on training toward becoming a certified Bench Jeweler.
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench.
Desired Skills & Requirements
We are looking for detail-oriented, customer-service-minded individuals who are passionate about quality work.
Experienced Jewelers (1-3 years relevant experience):
- Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler or equivalent skilled trades experience working with fine metals (gold, platinum, silver).
- Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
- High standard for quality, detail-orientation, and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Entry-Level Apprentices:
- A passion for working with fine jewelry and a strong desire to learn the craft.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player.
