Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping. This role works closely with and reports directly to the Accounting and Administrative Managers. Additional responsibilities include recording journal entries, assisting with account reconciliations, and managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities to support the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Support payroll processing and related reporting (as needed)
- Assist with audits and provide documentation to external accountants
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in using Accounting Software and other financial tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a small business environment
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
