We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a flair for providing exceptional customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their grooming needs. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ appearance while ensuring they have a positive experience at our salon.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling services, including traditional barbering techniques.
Provide grooming services such as beard trims, shaves, and hair threading.
Consult with clients to determine their desired styles and recommend appropriate services.
Utilize color theory knowledge to offer hair coloring services when requested.
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and hair care techniques.
Experience
Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology is preferred; relevant certifications are required.
Familiarity with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous.
Experience with hair extensions is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
