Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims.
Utilize straight razors and other tools effectively to achieve desired styles.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment.
Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Offer retail sales of hair care products and accessories to enhance client experience.
Assist in mentoring junior barbers or apprentices as needed.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Provide nail care services as required, ensuring comprehensive grooming solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience in barbering with a valid barbering license.
Proficiency in using straight razors and various barbering tools.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with retail sales techniques to promote products effectively.
Experience with salon software systems is preferred.
Ability to mentor junior staff members or apprentices is a plus.
Knowledge of hair extensions and advanced styling techniques is advantageous.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
