You are a natural connector. You walk into a room and people feel at ease. You ask good questions and actually listen to the answers. You are curious, resourceful, and energized by variety. You are equally comfortable welcoming a client at the door, photographing a stunning vintage piece, and writing a product description that makes someone fall in love with a jewel they have never touched. You do not need to know everything about jewelry on day one — but you need to genuinely want to learn. And you need to care. Deeply and authentically.

What You Will Do
On The Floor
- Welcome and engage every client who walks through our door with warmth, genuine curiosity, and Petra Star's signature unhurried approach
- Listen to clients' stories, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right piece or experience with confidence and care
- Support the custom order process from initial client conversation through to completion
- Represent Petra Star's values and brand standards at every in store interaction and trunk show event
Behind The Scenes
- Photograph and document new inventory with an eye for detail and beauty
- Write compelling, accurate, and engaging jewelry descriptions for our online store that reflect Petra Star's educational and genuine voice
- Manage and post product listings across our online platforms
- Handle day to day computer and administrative tasks as needed
Online & Social Engagement
- Bring creative energy to keeping our online community excited, informed, and connected during quieter in store moments
- Engage authentically with our audience across social and e-commerce platforms
- Brainstorm and execute ideas that generate excitement, drive online traffic, and convert followers into clients

Schedule – Part-time for now
This position requires one weekend day and one weekday each week with potential for additional hours as the business grows. Flexibility and reliability are equally important to us.
What We Are Looking For
- A genuine, warm, and naturally curious personality — this is the most important requirement on this list
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write in a voice that is both knowledgeable and approachable
- Comfort with basic computer tasks, photography, and online platforms
- An interest in jewelry, design, fashion, or luxury lifestyle is a wonderful bonus
- Someone who takes initiative, thinks on their feet, and thrives in a small business environment where wearing many hats is the norm and not the exception
