The Opportunity:
BYREDO seeks a Full-Time Brand Ambassador to drive sales and service through exceptional client experiences, personalized clienteling, and operational excellence at Bloomingdale's 59th Street. Reporting directly to the BYREDO Business Manager, this role combines storytelling, in-depth product knowledge, and a passion for luxury beauty to inspire and connect with clients. As a BYREDO Brand Ambassador within a premier wholesale retail environment, you will cultivate lasting client relationships, exceed sales goals, and ensure the brand is represented at the highest standard. You will partner closely with both the BYREDO team and Bloomingdale's associates to deliver an elevated shopping experience while supporting business objectives and brand growth.
What You'll Get To Do:
Sales Excellence
- Maintain knowledge of industry and market trends to evolve and optimize selling strategies within the luxury beauty environment
- Deliver an exceptional BYREDO client experience, demonstrating expertise and understanding of the brand's elevated selling approach
- Build rapport with returning clients by recognizing and understanding their needs, ensuring a personalized and seamless shopping experience
- Showcase BYREDO's product portfolio across fragrance, makeup, home, and body categories, offering tailored recommendations and creating memorable client experiences
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and KPI targets through strategic cross-selling and client retention
- Leverage BYREDO's CRM tools to capture client information, drive loyalty, and support personalized outreach efforts
- Partner with the BYREDO Business Manager and Bloomingdale's teams to maximize sales opportunities, support in-store events, and drive business growth
- Contribute ideas and feedback that support counter productivity, client acquisition, and overall business performance
Client Experience & Brand Expertise
- Build and nurture client relationships through personalized outreach and clienteling activities, including master classes, in-store events, and new product launches
- Provide after-sales service with care and attention, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty
- Create personalized shopping experiences that reflect each client's unique tastes and aspirations
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of BYREDO's product portfolio across fragrance, makeup, home, and body categories
- Actively participate in product presentations, training sessions, and educational opportunities to stay informed on new launches, industry innovations, and emerging trends
- Serve as a brand ambassador by communicating BYREDO's heritage, creativity, craftsmanship, and product stories with authenticity and passion
- Uphold BYREDO's commitment to excellence by ensuring detailed care, handling, and presentation of products, adhering to the highest standards of luxury
Operations
- Support daily counter operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, tester maintenance, and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain BYREDO brand presentation and merchandising guidelines while adhering to Bloomingdale's operational requirements
- Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and shrink prevention initiatives
- Support the execution of product launches, promotional events, animations, and clienteling activations
- Partner with the BYREDO Business Manager to ensure operational excellence and achievement of business objectives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling selling environment that reflects BYREDO's brand standards
We'd Love To Meet You If You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in luxury retail, beauty, fragrance, or makeup sales
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and achieve sales targets
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills
- Passion for luxury beauty, fragrance, and delivering elevated client experiences
- A proactive, adaptable, and dependable attitude
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed
- Experience with clienteling tools and CRM platforms is preferred
- Ability to lift/move boxes as needed for inventory replenishment up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including prolonged standing and walking
Compensation:
As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected hourly rate for this position ranges from $26.00-$30.00 per hour. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure
