One of our large medical and pharmaceutical supplies clients is currently seeking a Brand Product Developer to join their growing team remotely. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in product development, with a focus on creating high-quality Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) that meet both market demands and regulatory standards. This role is crucial in driving product innovation, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring alignment with their strategic goals. Key Responsibilities include:

Lead the creation and refinement of their Brands products, ensuring they meet eCommerce consumer needs and market trends. Develop product concepts from ideation through to commercialization.

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.

Use insights to inform product development strategies and ensure market relevancy.

Build comprehensive business case to internally sell-in new product concepts and gain alignment from key stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and sustainability, to support positioning and brand objectives.

Work closely with the eCommerce business, Global Sourcing, Packaging, PIM (Product Information Management), and QA (Quality Assurance), and Suppliers to ensure new products are developed and launched on time.

Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards, working in collaboration with regulatory affairs and legal teams to address any compliance issues.

Engage with external partners and suppliers to source materials and manage the production process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.

Oversee the development of product prototypes and manage testing processes to validate functionality, quality, and safety. Adjust product specifications as needed based on feedback and test results.

Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables align with business goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, ideally within the CPG and eCommerce sectors.

Minimum of 2 years of experience within medical supplies, pharmaceuticals or healthcare solutions

Strong understanding of product development processes, consumer behavior, and market analysis.

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (flexible based on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location: Fully remote, but may occasionally need to travel to their Richmond, VA office

Hiring Method: 12 month contract with the opportunity for extensions

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
