Responsibilities
- Assist brides and clients in selecting wedding dresses, evening wear, and accessories that suit their style, body type, and personal preferences.
- Provide personalized styling advice and fashion consultations to enhance each customer’s look
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell complementary products such as veils, jewelry, and other accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing
- Supervise inventory levels by stocking new arrivals, conducting stock checks, and assisting with product demos for customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening actively, communicating clearly, and maintaining professional phone etiquette in all interactions
- Support team efforts through supervising experience in managing daily operations and mentoring new staff when needed
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on fashion or bridal products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Skilled in cash handling, retail math, and basic accounting procedures
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a retail environment is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that drive sales
- Experience with stocking procedures and inventory management practices
- Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance customer experience while increasing revenue
