Thing or Two is looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to drive new commercial opportunities across TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, and e-commerce brands. The ideal candidate understands the digital creator ecosystem and is comfortable engaging with brands and partners to build long-term revenue opportunities.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiations, and deal closing.
  • Map and approach Korean D2C brands in categories such as beauty, skincare, lifestyle, fashion, wellness, and more.
  • Represent Thing or Two in the Korean market and introduce our TikTok Shop solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure healthy pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Influencer, Creative, Operations, Leadership) to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Identify trends, insights, and new opportunities in the Korean market and share relevant feedback internally.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable in commercial conversations and pitching value propositions.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing pipelines and relationships.
  • Motivated, adaptable, and driven by business development challenges.

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Familiarity with the TikTok environment (TikTok Shop, creators, Spark Ads, affiliate models, GMV/GMV Max basics).
  • Experience working with influencers, creator agencies, or e-commerce brands.
  • Background in B2C or D2C products and digital marketing.

Requirements:

  • Native Korean speaker and strong English proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience in sales, partnerships, influencer commerce, or business development is preferred.

Employment Type – Full-time

The office is based in Seoul – Seoul GangNam office
