🚀 The Opportunity
Be a pioneer. Showroom Privé is expanding its international footprint, and opening a brand-new office in London to accelerate its sourcing capabilities in the UK market.
We are looking for an ambitious Business Developer to play a founding role in our UK brand partnerships and establishing Showroomprivé as a key off-price partner for UK and International brands. This role is part of our ambition to develop the UK as a major sourcing hub, similar to our successful offices in Spain and Italy. This is a unique opportunity to join a major international e-commerce player while enjoying the agility and "intrapreneurial" spirit of a launch phase, with high visibility and strong growth potential.
👤 Who You Are
We are not just looking for an experienced member of staff; we are looking for a builder.
Experience: You have a minimum 4-5 years of solid experience in Fashion Business Development, Key Account Management, or Buying. A background in off price E-commerce, Digital, or Marketplace is highly preferred.
Mindset: You have a "Hunter" mentality. You love the thrill of chasing new business and closing deals.
Analytical: You are comfortable with numbers. You know how to use Excel/Google Sheets to model deals and analyse margins.
Communication: You are a natural negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Languages: Native/Bilingual English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is a significant plus but not a deal-breaker.
💼 Your Mission
As part of the UK office, you will be responsible for building and expanding our
portfolio of premium international brands. Your goal is to secure the best
offers for our members by acting as a strategic partner to fashion and lifestyle brands.
Hunt & Secure Partnerships: Identify high-potential British brands and onboard them onto the Showroom Privé platform. You will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Market Mapping: Conduct deep analysis of the UK market to identify trends, emerging players, and competitive gaps.
Negotiation: Define commercial terms that align with our profitability targets while offering value to our brand partners.
Strategic Networking: Act as the face of Showroom Privé in the UK. represent the company at trade shows, fashion events, and industry meet ups to build a strong local network.
Analysis: Collaborate with our Data & Support teams to monitor sales performance (KPIs) and adjust your sourcing strategy to maximise revenue.
