Job Title: Buyer

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job):

  • Support end-to-end product lifecycle management — from range planning to seasonal and top-up order closures for both international and domestic sourcing.
  • Analyse sales performance and product sell-through; provide actionable feedback to the Buyer, Traders, and Merchandisers to influence future buying decisions.
  • Lead margin negotiations with the Sourcing team for localised lines and manage fulfilment tracking across all season launches, including key marketing and window lines.
  • Capture seasonal lessons learnt and translate them into clear, forward-looking action points for the next season.
  • Monitor WGSN trends, runway insights, and competitor activity to provide timely and relevant trend feedback for range development.
  • Conduct regular market visits for product gap identification and competition analysis; ensure two-way communication with SCM and Sourcing for order tracking across import and domestic lines.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams — Retail, Ecommerce, Marketing, and VM — to drive product performance across Business Units and categories; maintain data hygiene across central product documents.

Skills:

  • Graduate in Fashion Management/Retail
  • 1-3 years of experience in product Buying in Apparels
  • Proficient with MS-Office
  • Good understanding of trend analysis and range development
