We are growing fast and launching product categories at a fast pace.
Position: Junior Buyer-Baby
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to develop merchandising strategies.
Plan and execute product assortments, considering factors such as seasonality, pricing, and target demographics.
Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, adjusting as necessary to optimize product availability and profitability.
Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Review samples and provide feedback to ensure that the final products meet quality standards and design expectations.
Stay updated on emerging design trends, materials, and techniques to inform product development decisions
Liaise with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure alignment and coherence across all aspects of product development and retail operations.
Participate in product meetings, brainstorming sessions, and presentations to share insights, gather feedback, and drive decision-making.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Overall Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven 1–2-year experience in merchandising role within the retail or fashion industry.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a keen understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Effective communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic industry landscape.
Working knowledge on MS Excel
