The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail and brand buying/purchasing.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian and/or French is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- No travel restrictions and able to adapt to a dynamic and flexible working environment.
Qualifications
- Support the buying process for designer brands.
- Prepare allocation and sales reports, weekly reports, meeting reports, and pre-buy analysis reports.
- Create, review, and manage purchase orders for assigned brands.
- Prepare seasonal product and trend presentation materials for the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Merchandising team to ensure efficient product shipments, allocations, and inter-store product and brand transfers.
- Enter and maintain budget data.
- Prepare store meeting reports.
- Work closely with the E-commerce team to plan weekly content and banner schedules, and prepare sales performance analyses and reports.
