Full Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Buyer in our manufacturing company.
Job Requirements:
· Assist in buying for general manufacturing and office items
· Analyze purchase requisitions and review accuracy and completion
· Investigate and cultivate new sources for supplies and products
· Review quotes and secure the most competitive bids
· Place orders in a timely fashion
· Solve problems with orders in an efficient and timely manner
· Document Control and Department filing
· Perform other task as needed based on department needs
Skills:
· Knowledge of machine tooling and metals a plus
· Strong organization skills
· Strong communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Strong mathematical skills (fractions, decimals, etc.)
Minimum Experience:
· Minimum 3 years Buyer experience
· Manufacturing equipment knowledge a plus
· Proficient in Excel required
Epicor ERP System knowledge a plus
*4 – 10 work week schedule!*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
