We’re looking for a Buyer Assistant to join our purchasing team. This position works closely with our purchasing manager and buyers to help plan, order, and manage merchandise across our family-owned retail stores. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to learn every aspect of the buying process and ultimately developing into a buyer role as experience grows. What You’ll Do
- Assist buyers with purchasing and replenishment
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels and sales performance
- Help receive and process incoming merchandise
- Merchandise products on the sales floor
- Maintain accurate product information and pricing
- Communicate with vendors and store teams
- Assist with reports and administrative purchasing tasks
- Support buyers during seasonal planning and product selection
- Assist with sales as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Retail, merchandising, or office experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
