Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedBuyer Assistant – Footwear Brands Expertto join our dynamic team.
As a Footwear Buyer Assistant youmust have good knowledge about all the fast-moving and popular footwear brands and will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and managing a diverse range of footwear products from our thousands of footwear inventories,to ensure our stores are stocked with the latest and trendiest offerings. Your role is crucial in defining and implementing our footwear strategy to meet customer demands and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and market developments in the footwear industry. Analyze consumer preferences and competitor trends to identify opportunities for product assortment.
Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment. Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
Ensure that all footwear products meet quality standards and specifications to resolve product-related issues.
Set competitive pricing strategies, considering market conditions and consumer expectations. Monitor price changes and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Create attractive in-store displays and online presentations that maximize product visibility and sales.
Plan seasonal assortments and promotions, aligning product offerings with fashion seasons, holidays, and customer demand.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Must be well-aware of all the fast-moving and popular footwear brands.
Proven experience as a Fashion Buyer, particularly in the footwear industry.
In-depth knowledge of fashion trends and the footwear market.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in using retail software and inventory management systems.
A passion for fashion and a keen eye for style.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
