We are looking for an ambitious Buyer/Fashion Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and optimize our women’s western wear and activewear portfolios, driving growth, profitability, and innovation.

Role Overview:

This is a comprehensive role encompassing all aspects of management—ranging from financial analysis and range planning to collaborative partnerships. If you have a passion for Fashion, analytics and category management, this role offers a thrilling opportunity to shape and steer the direction of a leading fast fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Range Planning and Assortment Optimization

Lead product range and assortment planning for the women’s western wear and activewear categories.

Craft collections that not only meet market demands but set the trend, keeping our brand at the forefront.

Work closely with design and merchandising teams to curate a dynamic product lineup.

2. Sales and Growth Strategy

Own the performance of the category, driving revenue growth, optimizing margins, and ensuring category expansion.

Analyse sales data to make informed decisions that maximize category profitability.

Leverage analytics to optimize the balance between sales velocity and stock levels.

3. Financial Planning and Forecasting

Conduct financial analysis, focusing on key performance indicators such as sales, margin, discounts, and inventory.

Build precise forecasts that allow for agile inventory planning, ensuring that we’re always ahead of the curve in meeting customer demand.

Collaborate with finance and sales teams to craft plans that maximize profitability.

4. Return Reduction and Inventory Management

Analyse return data and develop strategies to reduce return rates while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Manage the inventory flow for the entire category, ensuring optimal stock levels across all channels.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

Liaise with multiple teams, including design, category development, marketing, and revenue departments, to ensure seamless execution of plans.

Partner with sales and marketing teams to implement campaigns that drive category awareness and growth.

Skills & Experience

4-5 years of category management experience, preferably with international or premium brands.

Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of Fashion and category planning.

Data-driven mindset, with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.

Exceptional business acumen, with experience in inventory forecasting, margin analysis, and sales planning.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling cross-functional collaboration.
