Buyer/Designer | BNT | Pyrmont
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Buyer/Designer to join our team, reporting to the Senior Buyer/Designer based in our Pyrmont Support Centre. In this role you will have the opportunity to bring with you your knowledge in Buying and put these skills into practice, as well as have the opportunity to support with creating our ranges and shaping our categories for stores. This is a diverse and fast paced role that would be perfect for a self-motivated individual who is looking to further progress their career in Buying/Design.
Your new role at Bras N Things..
Support with the option plan build, buying and range/assortment of multiple categories.
Monday trade and general analytical support to aid in decision making.
Partnering with cross functional teams on a daily basis to ensure launch of product ranges in a timely matter.
Monthly competitor analysis to ensure we are staying abreast of market trends in Australia and overseas.
Research and presentation of the latest in fashion trends, colour, shape and market shifts.
Design, tech packs and development of ranges in line with seasonal trend direction to meet department sales targets.
What experience you can bring to us?
A degree in Fashion and Design or a related field
Background in Design (need to have experience with Illustrator and Photoshop)
Strong CAD skills
Experience in lingerie product development or design is preferred but not essential
Strong administration skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
Strong written and verbal skills
