GENERAL DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES
Support the merchandising team in Southeast Asia and Korea with retail buying and wholesale operations.
Responsible for the sell thru performance, with a focus on retail-driven strategies and the ability to respond swiftly to sales performance and stock management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Buying: Prepare and facilitate buying decisions through qualitative analysis and precise ordering.
Sell-Thru Performance: Diligently monitor sell-through rates and sales performance. Regularly provide comprehensive business analyses and insights.
Collaborate with Headquarters: Develop retail pricing and markdown strategies; conduct seasonal price benchmarks, competition surveys, and price index evaluations for management approval.
Stock Management: Manage stock levels, arrange replenishments and reorders, monitor shipments, and coordinate logistics.
Product Training: Provide training for new collection launches and essential basics to store staff.
Franchisee Support: Offer comprehensive merchandise support to franchisee clients.
Retail Collaboration: Work closely with retail teams to achieve business objectives.
Store Visits: Regularly visit stores to track product performance and gather feedback from retail staff and clients.
Visual Merchandising: Communicate with visual merchandising teams to develop plans that support business goals and adhere to the company’s high standards of presentation.
JOB REQUIREMENT
University graduate in Retail Merchandising, Business or relevant disciplines
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant years with MNC Luxury Retail brands
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Buyer
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data and market trends; advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
Attention to Detail: Ensure the quality and appeal of products
Ability to Work Under Pressure: Meet tight deadlines
Good Communication Skills: Collaborate efficiently with team members
Passion for Fashion: Possess a keen eye for trends
