About The RoleWe are looking for a Buying Admin Assistant to join us at Hobbs. This opportunity will see you support on our Tailoring and Outerwear department.

Our buyers are at the core of our business, developing and delivering commercial and profitable ranges that offer our Hobbs customer a point of difference. The Buying Admin Assistant will contribute to the process of all stock and intake including critical path and sample management, ensuring all admin work surrounding these are completed and communicated. Working at pace we will need you to assist the wider buying team with the co-ordination and preparation for range sign off and systemic elements of the buying process.

The Buying Admin Assistant will contribute as an active member of the Buying team, assisting in the analysing of competitor activity, seasonal trends and design direction including price architecture, colour palette and margin to deliver a highly commercial and well-balanced range.

About YouAs a Buying Admin Assistant we will provide you with full training and ongoing support from the get-go to ensure you have all the tools to succeed in your role. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in industry within a buying environment during work, placement or internship. We would need to you demonstrate a highly commercial driven mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure as a resourceful communicator. Motivated to fulfil the role, you will have a good understanding of thinking commercially, all the while looking to assist in the delivery of a profitable range that maximises commercial opportunities for our business. A commercial mindset and a collaborative nature are a must!
