We’re looking for a commercially driven Buying and Merchandising Specialist who can spot opportunities, understand what customers want, and translate insights into winning product assortments. From buying and inventory planning to supplier negotiations and trend scouting, you’ll help shape categories that drive sales, profitability, and customer excitement.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve sales, margin, and assortment goals
- Forecast sales and manage inventory, stock levels, and product allocation to maximize turnover
- Identify emerging trends, new products, and potential suppliers to keep the assortment fresh and relevant
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, commercial terms, discounts, and promotional opportunities
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, promotions, and merchandise presentation
- Visit stores and warehouses to review product assortment, availability, display, and overall performance
- Collaborate with store teams and key stakeholders to identify opportunities and improve category performance
- Develop promotional plans and analyze results to strengthen future strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, category management, or a related commercial role
- Strong commercial acumen with a keen eye for products, trends, and customer preferences
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and comfortable working with sales, inventory, and performance data
- Willing to travel for store and warehouse visits
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Fookien is an advantage
