We are creating the Middle East’s local digital champion and are looking for world-class talent to join our team.
What you’ll do:
Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments in the buying processes and new projects and activities
Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
Identifying customer preferences, monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
Visit the market to research products & study market trends. Use the market visits to also add more suppliers to the base.
Work with the content & merchandising teams to ensure the best visibility for the products procured.
Ensure all reconciliations are done within the planned time for smooth payments.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field
2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
Highly detail oriented with proven strong business sense
Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets.
Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the customer order fulfilment as well as profitability.
Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Arabic speaker preferred.
